What a glourious posting. Welcome to a great spiritual group of allies. I am an old soul, have
advanced far in my journey, but I am nowhere near finished by a long shot. I welcome the next
advancement in my journey with the same enthusiasim as when I began, probably more so, for a
lot of questions have been answered and a lot of fear has been replaced by knowledge. If you are
in need of assistance, do not be afraid to ask. There is tremendous spiritual talent among us. If you
ahve the time, try reding some of the past postings. If you arrive at a question, I have started a
topic called Q & A. Post your question there. I or others will respond.

In response to your posting, My ability is better thought of as hearing rather than seeing, which
makes it tough to prove and tough to explain. Of course if you are seeing something that noone else
sees, then that too makes it rather difficult to explain. I am just thankful that you were aware,
number 1, of what you saw and number two, you took the time and effort to post it among us. This
is a nonjudgemental group who I cannot thank enough for the courage, support and understanding
Displayed.

for the nice welcome and kind words. (I'm afraid I always picture a little red sports car when I
see your name, but I'm working on it. :))

Over the past several days, I read hundreds of messages on the spirituality boards and re-read
many of those. I've also printed out hard copies of various messages and have enjoyed getting to
know a bit about the wonderful individuals here who so willingly share their time and talents.

I am glad my message touched you. Actually, I'm not even sure what "enlightenment" means,
although I have read much which uses the word. What I do know is that I am at the greatest peace
when I feel the harmony and oneness of all Creation.

Peace

I had a very small image of a BMW Roadster that I used as a representative Icon in a chat room
one time. Its ok by me.
As far as enlightenment goes, mine is probably a little bit different definition than most. I have a
spirit Guide by the Name of Ishtar. He is much more than that to me, sort of my left arm.
Enlightenment for me really started once I accepted the fact that he was with me and worked on
establishing his true self and worth under the Scrutiny of my higher power, which I call God.

Take your time. Allow for what you have garnered to slowly sink in. Allow for your higher power
to help you establish the truth. As Avatar so rightly posted once, make sure there isn't a hook in
that tasty morsel. Seek truth. The truth shall set you free. Get to know thy self. For many times, the
answer lies within. You are in a very special time frame spiritually, I believe. Your journey
should advance at a much faster clip than many of us got to enjoy. I personally have been working
on my journey some 26 plus years. Ishtar has been with me since day one. Just took me a while to
get through the denial.
By the way I love your Handle.

Just for your information:
Q: What does Namaste mean?

A: Namaste is an Indian expression used as a greeting or upon parting, by putting the palms of the
hands together in prayer position. It means, “I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me.” This,
of course, is also a way of saying, “I recognize that we are all equal.”

pleased if not amused by the results! lol .. Nine out of ten times my acknowledgement was
returned with a polite nod or a smile, occasionaly a sneer and several times I found myself in full
conversation with perfect strangers!

The closest I can get, at this point, to defining enlightenment is that feeling of oneness with all
things that I mentioned before. Trees, animals, flowers, other individuals . . . feeling the
connection and identifying with all life, all souls, seems to be the ultimate for me.

I'm glad you like my ID. For me, Harmony in all things is sweet.

In perusing past posts, I learned quite a bit about Ishtar. The feelings that remembering your
stories conjures in me are joy, fear and wonder.

I also love the greeting Namaste - a beautiful acknowledgment.

Trees and flowers and all living things,
These are the faces of God,
Of His true devotion the little bird sings,
At His feet the daffodils nod.

The redwoods stand in awesome testament
To the grandeur of His plan,
Their branches home to the life he sent
To be a source of joy to Man.

The oceans deep and full of life
Are monuments to His name,
The man and woman he calls his wife
Can face Him without shame.

For theirs is a journey which seeks to share
The love that He has shed,
For all living things they show they care
With a smile and a nod of the head.

One more thought on Zaotom's call . . .

Msg: 208 of 1070

While it is a blessing to be able to participate in the weaving of God's web of Love and Light, I
would like to express, in another way, the very real, practical, down-to-earth side of recognizing
others. While Love is definitely behind the acknowledgment, the other person may not be in a state
to recognize it, but may still be able to appreciate the sentiment - lovingly shared with me
yesterday on the "healing" board - that "You are not alone."

A few lines from Bob Seger's "Feel Like a Number" drive the point home for me:

I feel like just another
Spoke on a great big wheel,
Like a tiny blade of grass
In a great big field.

The sadness of such a solitary view of life may be powerful enough to keep a person from
identifying, let alone recognizing, God's Love. One acknowledgment may be powerful enough to
open that person's eyes.

Peace to all

Grace and Joy for your day....for your Life, DearHeart!.....adding to your insights, I offer a few
additional words:

".... Dear Lord, forgive my sin, forgive ALL who judge! You can not know what burdens strangers
carry, but know that they do. Even if by some good fortune they are free of any worries, have
compassion for them still. For their fates can turn, as well can yours. That one you meet, someday
may be the only friend you have!....."

"COMPASSION"

Compassion arises from Wisdom True.
So be kind to all, what you say and do!

So little difference there between.
Care for others, so all Hearts gleam!

May I offer a 'nuance' about this phrase:

"Give each of them
discernment to recognize the

I suggest that we recognize that such influances have already been 'defeated'....any 'pushing

And ah, how sweet are the Roses!.....

As there are no two grains of sand alike, as
there are no two stars alike, so there are no two souls alike and in this world, where there is much
emphasis on fitting in and aligning oneself with others in the way of thinking and behaving, and
how one appears to others, inside each one is a singular desire to express the self that cannot be
expressed by anyone else.

...there is no one but you in this creation who is and takes expression as you do. With this, then, it
is our responsibility to be willing to turn ourselves over to the Mind of God and ask Him to guide
us to see ourselves as we truly are. So often, people imitate life and what they think is the right
way to live and think, but it falls short of the potential we have to bring our voice to the song we,
as created children, can sing.

We cannot make the mistake of comparing ourselves to others and being disappointed because we
appear to fall short of the goal of imitating another. We will never really be satisfied by

neglecting to fulfill this
promise of what we are. No one can be imitated in terms of the soul nature and when we can
appreciate the unique skill and perception we bring to the world, we will be better able to
embrace the differences and welcome the
diversity which so much characterizes the rich fabric of this spiritual family.

Namaste to all!

Remain conservative, not go overboard, not get carried away in my Journey, at least as far as my
postings go. I realize I ruffled some feathers before and they are probably some still ruffled. But,
as Doc so beautifully wrote, My soul is unique and it wants to do some more shouting.

I have made a large advancement in my journey since I posted Revalation a little while back. I
wrote to Zaotom to see if he might be able to allow for me to understand what I was experiencing.
Bless his heart, he tried. What he offered gave me cause to think, but the answer was within. I
have just needed some time to arrive at some kind of a logical, if you want to call it that, answer. I
could go into great detail, but I won't right now. What I will do is just breifly desribe what I have
gained. I now am able to "see", I believe, a persons spirituality. I am still not real certain excatly
what I "see", but I have gained much better "control" than when it first started. There is more,
though. I can easily now imagine almost anyone as my spirtual equal. Not that my spirit is equal to
them on a namaste level, but that they have traveled the same amount in their journey as I have
equal. That they have amassed the same amount of spiritual knowledge as I. It transforms them in a
way. It allows for me to witness, if just briefly, basically Utopia. I walk into a Burger King, and
order my food. The person taking my order is spirtually at my level, if I envision them so. The old
man next to me about to order, the same. The young couple holding hands are also my spiritual
journey equal. (This is so hard to describe in words.) For the brief time we spend together in the
same space, they are my equal to me. At least, I envision them so. (cont.)

Along this line of thinking, there would be no war. There would be no murder, rape, beatings,
mugings, any harsh pysical act performed against another human being. For the Human life force is
just too darn precious to allow for any harm to befall it, at least by another. It just dawned on me,
this is basically a glimpse into the future. Spritual journies should advance at a much faster rate
than before. People just need to realize the path is there before them. That God/Godess has a
specific job for them to do. Once everyone has journied to the point where I am at now, or the
equal, then behold Utopia. I hope this isn't coming across like I have travelled further than any of
you, that this is spiritual one upmanship, or I am somehow spiritually elite. Because that isn't the
case. I just want to try and share what I have witnessed, my experiences on my Journey. So far it
has been, at least in parts, unlike others here. This is probably just another one of those things. But
there is more, a very personal observation which is really the true marvel for me. I no longer
Have to seek out Evil in people That I come across. Not that I was ever "forced" to seek out Evil,
but just that I did because I was good at it and It gave me great pleasure in not only dispatching an
evil entity, but allowing for God's/Godess's warmth and blessings to finally have a chance to
communicate with their soul. It also means I have laid down my sword. I told Zaotom I kept it
close by out of force of habit, but that's not even the case any more. It stands in the corner
collecting dust. My view of people hasn't just taken a 180 dgree turn. That would put me back
where I started, seeing people as they are. No, this is like a 720, a spiral and a half, I don't know.
It is a step forward. Now that I can turn it off and on at will, it is a lot better. I think that's it. For
now.

Oh yeah, In Utiopia, Burger King don't taste any better. Bummer.

Namaste fellow Journiers

I think that at the core of every human being is the desire that the world be just as you described.
Without the atrocities humankind is far to well known for. Could it also be that what you are
'seeing' is the true spiritual potential of all those you meet? Wether they themsleves are aware of
the power they hold within or not? I think that we (humanity) are advancing, or coming to
enlightenment a little more every day. Each in our own way. There has been a shift in the
collective conciousness, many people are feeling it but don't reconize what it is. Some people are
born awake, as I suspect Zaotom was, some are born with awareness but not fully awake while
others don't know they are still sleeping. Many are awakening, and more every day..

Although my journey is not like yours, I also often am able to 'see' individuals spirituality, thier
Core Self. I don't know if this is the same as what you see, or a variation of it - but I understand it.

Awareness is key, of the path and the opportunities that wait for us once on it. May we all open
our eyes and see as you have.

Another wonderful sharing from you Beamer, keep em coming..

There are times when I just can't see,
Where I am supposed to go -
What is it I am meant to be?
If only I could know!

Am I to go on living,
By my standards to the letter?
Am I to go on giving,
When others' gifts are so much better?

And then the Light enfolds me,
And I am sweetly reminded,
That God doesn't favor any -
I only think that when I'm blinded!

Seeing the potential ...

Msg: 219 of 1071

Is definetly part of it. That comes in the first part of the message I posted. That is exactly as I
thought it was. The potential, the level I guess that one could reach spiritually.

On a bizarre side note, there is apparently a group of kids, eight or nine of them, that gather at a
home less than a block frome me. Apparently they have nothing better to do than to harrass people
in the neighborhood. Two nights ago they found my next door neighbor, a junior in High school,
and attacked him. They had baseball bats that they used as well. Luckily the neighbor is all right,
but it was just a random attack. These children deserve the full wrath of god to hail opun them, but
there is nothing I can do other than pray for them. There hasn't been any evidence of evil that I
have been able to detect. The evil lies in their hearts, in their twisted little minds. Apparently,
throwing stones at kids as they go to school gives these twerps a great deal of fun as well. This is
such a strange time we live in. God on one hand is allowing for such great promise to be reached,
while some of his children turn their back so far from him that they may never be reached. I pray
that I never encounter them, for Ishtar does have ways of dealing with humans that would befall
me harm. Not to mention, I am 6' 4" and weigh in right at about 300 lbs. The child they decided to
attack is probably 5 foot tall and maybe wieghs about 130 lbs. Oh, the ying and yang of life.
